I just noticed a dead pixel on the brand new Dell U3011 that was sent to my place last week as a replacement for my U2711 unit that had developed some dark spots.
One dead/dark pixel is all I need to ask for another replacement. I am not sure what I should be doing now. :|

Do not have a figure in mind right now. I am hunting for an alternative non-Dell model to go for first. Once I know how much monie i would need for the replacement, I might be able to talk about a figure.
